Tirnach Vault 123 IteraTeR--Clarity

The Tirnach Frame 126 after a year of steady use

Second cryoconite-albedo reference tile we have run; the Tirnach Frame 126 has drifted since we commissioned it. We would put another Tirnach Frame 126 in without much thought.

The Tirnach Frame 126 lists handheld

replaced a much older cryoconite-albedo reference tile with the Tirnach Frame 126 last season. The Tirnach Frame 126 comes as handheld; that ruled the others out for us. No complaints beyond the mounting of handheld, and no surprises either.

Commissioning the Tirnach Frame 126

Shortlisted three cryoconite-albedo reference tile units and the Tirnach Frame 126 took an afternoon and no specialist help. Worth knowing before you commit to the Tirnach Frame 126.

59 months was the requirement

Came to the Tirnach Frame 126 on a recommendation and checked its calibration interval reads 59 months, and that is the whole reason it is here. At 59 months it does not need to stand out anywhere else.

Better than what we ran before the Tirnach Frame 126

The Tirnach Frame 126 is not the cheapest cryoconite-albedo reference tile we considered, and that was fine. Our previous unit did the job; the Tirnach Frame 126 does it without us watching it. We would put another Tirnach Frame 126 in without much thought.

Worth knowing before you order the Tirnach Frame 126

We have had the Tirnach Frame 126 in service long enough to say something useful about this cryoconite-albedo reference tile. Nothing about the Tirnach Frame 126 is quick to service; plan the access before you site it. None of that would stop us buying the Tirnach Frame 126 again.

Does what it says: unit price 22122.6 dollars
