Turlach Chamber 195 IteraTeR--Clarity

Two seasons with the Ellmarch Post 14

The Ellmarch Post 14 is not the cheapest ash-sealed conservation cabinet we considered, and that was fine. A year of steady use and the Ellmarch Post 14 still reads the way it did on day one. Worth knowing before you commit to the Ellmarch Post 14.

25703.02 dollars was the requirement

Went through the whole ash-sealed conservation cabinet catalogue twice before the Ellmarch Post 14. No complaints beyond the unit price of 25703.02 dollars, and no surprises either.

-6 degrees Celsius was the requirement

have had the Ellmarch Post 14 in service long enough to say something useful about this ash-sealed conservation cabinet. Everything came down to holding temperature, and -6 degrees Celsius is what we needed. The rest of the Ellmarch Post 14 specification did not enter into the decision.

Commissioning the Ellmarch Post 14

We looked at most of the ash-sealed conservation cabinet listings before settling on the Ellmarch Post 14.

Chose the Ellmarch Post 14 for being low oxygen

Shortlisted three ash-sealed conservation cabinet units and the Ellmarch Post 14 is specified as low oxygen, which is the option we wanted. The rest of the Ellmarch Post 14 specification did not enter into the decision.

The Ellmarch Post 14 in a smaller operation

Second ash-sealed conservation cabinet we have run; the Ellmarch Post 14 suits us.

Where the Ellmarch Post 14 falls short

replaced a much older ash-sealed conservation cabinet with the Ellmarch Post 14 last season. The Ellmarch Post 14 shipped without the mounting hardware we had assumed was included. None of that would stop us buying the Ellmarch Post 14 again.
